Appearance of Dactylogyrus and Gyrodactylus in German Koi (Cyprinus caprio) ponds from 2011 to 2015

Abstract

In this study I have summarized the importance of the attack of Dactylogyrus spp. and Gyrodactylus spp. in German Koi ponds, including the treatment methods and the important preventive measures. In recent decades, the treatment of Dactylogyrus spp. and Gyrodactylus spp. in Cyprinus caprio with the existing drugs in fraught with more and more problems. The two Monogenea are developing ever stronger resistances.
