Genera are split into Brookesiinae (Brookesia, Palleon) and Chamaeleoninae (Archaius, Bradypodion, Calumma, Chamaeleo, Furcifer, Kinyongia, Nadzikambia, Rieppelon, Rhamphoeleon and Trioceros).!
