Abstract
There are many hematology analysers available; however, the majority are designed for human use. Since the shape, size, and proportions of blood cells may differ significantly between species, these machines must be calibrated for the use of animal species (Harvey, 2012). Thus having an animal specific hematology analyzer is crucial for the proper analyses of blood tests. The Sysmex XT-2000iV has long been the gold standard of blood analysis in our clinic, providing accurate and precise results.
